Hello and Happy Thursday!! Hooray, it is almost Friday!! I can't wait. Luckily, it has been a busy week at work, so it has flown by. If it is busy, I am busy and that makes me happy. We have some big orders we are working to fill... so there are lots of candles to clean! I have helped clean a LOT of candles this week! Working for K. Hall Designs makes me feel like I am contributing towards something good. They are good products and great people. I couldn't really ask for anything more!
An update on Moe: He is doing VERY WELL post-surgery. He has been up and around the last couple of days and has even tried some of his old tricks. The hardest part is keeping him from jumping up and down from places. He's a cat! They LOVE to jump up on stuff... and down! We've done a good job though. His incision site is healing nicely and his appetite is back. Toby, our other cat really doesn't know what to think of Moe these days. Toby will get upset and hiss whenever Moe comes around. My brother told me that it's normal for cats to do this when they smell that another one around them is sick, or smells like they were. He also informed me that things may never be the same between Mr. Moe and Toby. Do any of you know if this is true? I could definitely Google it, but I would really like to hear some experiences from others.
I hope you are ready for some color, because today I have it! I have created a canvas bag banner using some small canvas bags and products from Happy N Scrappin' and for my Design Team share on the Blog. A lot of the products used were from Doodlebug's Nifty Notions collection. I LOVE the colors and patterns of the papers in this collection! Really bright and fun!
I really wanted a cute banner to hang in my studio, so I added letters to spell the word Create on the banner. Lot's of Chalkboard Glimmer Mist was used in making these pennants for the banner. I also hand stitched around each one with twine. The entire banner took about three days to complete, with coming back and forth to it.

These photos were taken outside in my backyard on the fence so the lighting would be better. I also like the way hanging decorations seem to look on our fence. :)
Like I told you earlier in the post, there are a LOT of bright colors in this banner! I'm not really a bright color person when it comes to clothes, but making bright stuff is fun! A lot of the time if I make something other than a layout or card that is composed of bright colors, it will end up in Renny's room. She can really appreciate things like this.
This last photo is just of each individual pennant of the banner. It allows for more of a close up view, so you can see the little embellishments that were added to each one. I added a lot of my favorite things, since this banner was for my special room. It is now officially hanging up as you go downstairs into my studio area. :)
If you get a chance hop on over to the Happy N Scrappin' blog to say Hi and for more inspiration!! We'd love to have you!
Below are products from the store that were used in making this banner. :)
