She Finds Beauty in Everything - Canvas using Glitz Designs

As you can see, I am back to working on canvas again. I love making these things. They are so fun and rewarding to create. My home is turning into my own little art gallery. The kids and Keith love it, which makes me even happier. 

I created this canvas using two of the Glitz Designs Collections... Hoopla and Love Games, which can both be found in the HappyNScrappin' store.  I absolutely love both of these collections so much!!! The colors and patterns are gorgeous! All of the greens, blacks and teals are the best! 

I was inspired by Christy Tomlinson's She Art workshop.  Now, I did not take the workshop, although I really want to. I was only inspired by the images, techniques and words that I saw when looking through the images. One of my friends did take it, and she loved it! Hopefully I can take it sometime.

I think it turned out just right. I made this for a friend of mine. It really makes me think of her whenever I look at it. She really does try to see beauty in everything she sees, regardless of the situation. She has been through some really rough times in the past couple of years, and yet through it all she kept her head held high and her attitude right. I really appreciate and respect that. So I created this for her. Currently, I have not given it to her just yet, but she does know it is coming. For now, it is on the wall in my bedroom ready to be wrapped up and taken to her. :) I hope she loves it!
