Love Birds... My Keith and I

You'd might not believe this, but Austin took these pictures of me and Keith. They turned out really good! You'd never know a seven year old took them would you? The cameras we got the kids for the holidays really have been fun for them. I am glad that they enjoy taking pictures the way that I do. I'm definitely no professional, but I do enjoy snapping photos. Probably has to do with the fact that I am completely obsessed with scrapbooking, wouldn't it?

These pics of Keith and I worked really well with the SEI Lovebirds collection that I have been working with lately. You can find the collection at Your Memories Here super cheap! It's less than $5 and you get tons of papers, some laser cut paper and die cuts! It's definitely worth getting. I have created several layouts AND projects and still have a bunch of it left over. And most of the stuff I have still are in full sheets!

I also shared this layout on the Your Memories Here DT Blog on Monday. If you still haven't been to the blog, you really should go over there and check it out. My fellow DT gals are so inspiring and Kristina, the store owner also shares sales and other great info on the blog as well. It's a great way to find out what will be in the store as well as great deals as well!

See the heart below? It's an acrylic heart that actually came in one of my Pink Ninja Addicts kits along with the beaded trim around it. The flower attached to the pink tulle on the heart was handmade by myself using an old pair of jeans that we were going to throw out. They were Austins and didn't fit him anymore. Not to mention the huge hole in them which makes them totally inappropriate for public view! I just reused them in a different fashion! And I am getting lot of embellishments out of them! I can only imagine what I can do with a full pair of adult jeans.... hmm....

The alphas I used for the title are some very old Heidi Swapp self adhesive letters that I purchased from Simply Scrapping Crafts

I still can't believe how good these pictures are that Austin took!! Wow! Not too shabby for a seven year old!

Serenity had me take a picture of her with the layout, like she did the other one..... so cute!
