The Mojo's a working.... more layouts from Simply Scrapping

I was pretty busy the past week... Judy put out a lot of sketches the past two weeks... two big bundles of them to drool over, and these are my layouts from the first set of them... numbers 19 thru 22 which can be found over at Simply Scrapping or at the Blog

Sketch 19 - "Beer Box Boy" Yes, I know... looks redneck, right? LOL... well that's how I felt when I looked at the picture, esp when seeing the empty shopping bags all over in the background and how freaking sloppy my kitchen looks! Not to mention the fact that the focal point of the picture is my son wearing a Miller Lite box on his head.... ok, there is obviously country in my son even though he has grown up in the city his whole life.
Products Used: Kraft cardstock; Prima (Rock on Love Collection) papers; Rusty Pickle (BEER part of title); AC Thickers (rest of title); staples; pen

Sketch 20 -"Adore" Well, this one is easy to figure what it is about, right? Keith... duh! Someone I adore for many reasons. Not only is he someone I love very much, but he is also someone whom I admire for many other reasons. I don't often tell him, so me scrapping about it helps get the words out there.
Products Used: Bazzill (solid black and white); Making Memories (b&w patterned); Making Memories acrylic paint; Jenni Bowlin bingo card; DCWV, Making Memories and Imaginisce flowers; Imaginisce brads; Liquid Pearl; Ribbon; pen
Sketch 21 "Today" I made this layout about the first time my parents saw my nephew Aiden. He was born on their anniversary last year in June and they had not seen him until this Easter. He was 10 months when he saw Grandma and Papa Hammann for the first time. I will never forget the looks on their faces. I feel bad though... since they saw Aiden for the first time, they have not seen him since. I know that my sister is very busy.... but I am sure if she tried she could go see them. I would even take Aiden myself.
Products Used: Kraft cardstock; 7 Gypsies papers; Creative Imaginations rub-on (title); Prima flower; Imaginisce brads; Glimmer Mist; ribbon; pen

Sketch 22 - "My Family" I had scanned this picture when I scanned a bunch of old pictures from my mom. I have always loved this picture. It is all of us with my Grandma Fulton and my two Uncles... my mom's baby brothers. It's hard to look at the picture sometimes because it makes me miss those who are gone.... but I still love the photo. I am grateful that I have now scrapped it. I wish that we had more photo's like these. I guess we will have to start our own traditions taking family photos with our own children, since those who used to do it are no longer with us.

Products Used: Prima cardboard; 7 Gypsies papers; Hambly paper (yellow w/writing); 7 Gypsies postcard; Daisy D's hinge; Hambly screenprint; Imaginise brads; Prima Say it in Pearls; Prima flower; Me & My Big Ideas (title); Glimmer Mist; Making Memories acrylic paint; Ranger Crackle, pen
