36 in 72

That is the number I figured anyway. I've worked 36 hours in the past 72... eww. I know it doesn't seem like much to some, but the shifts I have been covering have NOT been fun and made it seem awful! I have covered not only the shifts I had scheduled myself, but two other peoples shifts because they ended up calling in. They had legitimate reasons, don't get me wrong, but this is the hardest part of my position. Being the one who covers the shifts just to save labor, or just because no one else is willing or able to cover the shifts. Terri has been absolutely wonderful helping me cover shifts! I owe her big time! She really needed the time off tonight though after 5pm. Her bf came home early just to spend some time with her. How sweet! So I couldn't ask her at that point to stay any longer. I felt bad.

Her and I are going to have a ladies night tomorrow night.... and lucky me, I asked Lindsey if she would come in for the first half of the AM shift on Saturday! Yay!!! I will have time to close out the bar and nurse a hangover...JUST KIDDING!! We are going to go karaoke! I am really excited. I'm pulling out the camera for this one! I need some girls night out pics.

After this shift, I'm gonna go relax!!!
