Follow Your Heart - Art Journal Page

In my quest to find myself even more through my art, and through art journaling in particular, I have found that what many would deem mistakes, or a mess can be turned into something beautiful. I think that is why I love art journaling so much, and especially lately when I have been going through some rough times. 

My page today is an example of turning a mess into something beautiful. 

I adore the colors on the page I have to share today, and the majority of this page is clean up from making other backgrounds in my journal! I love that about art journaling! Really, this concept can apply with scrapbooks, painting and all other mediums, but I think some have a hard time doing it. I can understand how it is hard to let go... trust me!! It isn't easy in life, so I do it in my art. 

I have an obsession with the teal, purple, white and black colors in this page. They make me drool... just a bit. :) Are there certain colors that just make you swoon?
