Love in Black and White

Happy Saturday my blog friends! I thought I would get a post in while things are calm around my house. Keith's parents are in for the day visiting from Ohio. We have already had a busy day. We girls went to visit the storefront for where I work to do some shopping and then had lunch at Steak N Shake. The boys went to Arby's and then took Austin to a bowling party for his friends birthday.  Now we are all relaxing and watching Rango on Netflix. 

Since all is quiet it's the perfect time to share my latest project from Happy N Scrappin' with you! This project was posted on the Blog Thursday. It is just a simple canvas using mainly products from the Classic Collection by Doodlebug. 

This canvas was quickly achieved using a square punch, my patterned papers, gesso, modge podge,  the sew stamper tool and various little embellishments. I would estimate my total time spent to complete this was three hours which includes prep and drying time for all. 

This canvas is now hanging over our love seat in the living room. 

Unfortunately some of of the ink smeared after stamping. The stampers are not immediately permanent so I smeared them a bit. I ended up liking the way it looked though, and smeared some more. :)
