Since I have joined the Studio Calico kit club, I have had more than enough goodies coming in each month to create with. I hadn't wanted to join the club for the longest time, but then after seeing all of the awesome goodies that you get with each kit, I had to!
Today's layout uses a SC kit that I received. I love the colors in this one! So bright and happy! They really fit this picture of Serenity that I had taken at Brentwood Days this past year. The pink in the page brings out the pink in the cotton candy.
And speaking of cotton candy, boy does Renny love it! She carried that bag all around the carnival and didn't want to let it out of her sight. Being the loving girl that she is though, she did share with us and her brother. But it was so funny watching her carry this huge bag around that was almost as big as her. :)

It seems to be a tradition to buy cotton candy whenever we are at a carnival. Not only that, but riding specific rides, such as the ferris wheel. I used to love to ride the scariest and wildest rides when I was a kid. Now, I get nauseated just looking at them for too long. I wonder if that is something that comes with age, or just a lack of riding them over the past ten years or so. Who knows.... what about you? Do you like to ride the crazy rides? Is there a particular treat that you have to have if you go to a carnival? I'd love to hear your little traditions.

Love the bright colours here and such a cute photo.
I'm thinking cotton candy is what we in the UK call candy floss...my kids always loved getting it twirled onto a stick when we went to the fair or a carnival.
