He wuv's kitties!!!

I have shared layouts with my nephew, Aiden in them before.... he's one of the cutest little boys, and I love to take pictures of him to scrap whenever I get the chance. I'm fortunate that he LOVES to have his picture taken, unlike my own son, who thinks that he is now too old for me to be snapping photos of him left and right. So I have to rely on my nephew. I guess I can handle that, although I WILL get some good photos of Austin sooner or later. I am bound and determined to do so!

I created this layout from the same Studio Calico kit I used for yesterday's layout. I really wanted to keep it clean, with lots of white space. I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do. I love the colors of this one. So simple and clean. Very nice!

Of course, I had to add some glimmer mist to the layout. I used my Marshmellow Glimmer Mist on the white/cream background to give it some more dimension. I also used the mist on the flower and pretty much all over this page. The journaling was placed around the photo mat to keep the clean look going. Journaling around shapes has always been one of my favorite ways to journal. Also, journaling around the entire page looks great as well. It gives a frame to the page, but also contains that very special journaling you want to include in your page.

Anyway, here are some more close ups of the page....

Thanks so much for looking. I hope you have a wonderful day!!! The work week is almost over!!!

What a great page! I love how you did your journaling around the photo like a frame. Cool idea!
