Photo Share of Fun Events

I thought I would share some photos with you from the past couple of weeks for today's post. I recently began working on a mini album and have completed a few pages which I will begin sharing with you later today or tomorrow. 

There are really only two events that I have to highlight in photos today, and one of them only has one photo, but it was a really good night for Keith so I wanted to share it with you! 

This is the team photo for Keith's Broomball team, The Bare Bodins. They won the Fall Championship a couple of weeks ago for 2011. The championships were supposed to have been played in December, but the weather was too mild to play, so they postponed the games until January of this year. They played two games, and both resulted in a shootout. It was a great game to watch! If you are not familiar with broomball, it is very similar to hockey except that you aren't on skates, but shoes and there isn't a puck, but a ball. 

Here is a video of one of the shootouts. Keith is the goalie for the team in yellow. :)

The most recent event that occurred was my birthday. I turned 29 on Tuesday, the 17th.

I worked on Tuesday, but when I came home this sign was waiting for me in the yard. I was really surprised! 

The kids and Keith had decorated the house in balloons! It was so awesome! 

I had my own chair, decorated just for me by the kids! 

My friend Trish made this fruit dessert for my birthday. She stayed with us this past week while her place was being prepared for her to move in.

The kids put a candle in the middle so that I could make a wish. I'd tell you what I wished for but then it won't come true! 

We ate our pieces of the treat with a little bit of ice cream! Trish is going to give me the recipe that she used for the torte that the base is made of. I can't wait to make this again on my own!
