What a Comfy Couch!! - Pretty Paper Party

Well, it's Wednesday and the middle of the week. How has your week been? Ready for it to be Friday? There was a time in my life where I looked forward to Fridays...not so much anymore. I'm not in school, and I've never really worked a job where it was only Monday through Friday so it's not been a big deal to me.

Today I have a layout share for you. I created this layout for the Pretty Paper Party class that Shimelle taught. Prompt 13 was about creating dimension on your pages. I have several bits on this layout with dimension as you can see.


The first part you may have noticed are the stars. They are stamped onto patterned paper and then cut out. I used pop dots to give them the dimension. I made the stars to go along with the night time paper that has stars and clouds on it. 

The other dimension on the page is the clouds. I cut out some more clouds from the extra pieces of patterned paper that I had and used more pop dots to raise them off of the page. Super cute! 

And one more close up on the strip below. I love how the dimension brings more shadowing to the page. 

I took the same star stamp I used for the three dimensional stars to stamp some more gold stars around the layout in various places. I also took the same shimmery gold paint and dry brushed it on the clouds and in various places on the patterned paper.
