Polka Dots and Stripes - Pretty Paper Party

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! I've got another layout to show you from the Pretty Paper Party class that Shimelle is having and I have been taking. I am seriously in LOVE with this class!! This is the farthest I have gotten in a class in a long time!

Today I'm sharing the layout I created for the fourth prompt of the party which is about working with stripes and polka dots. These aren't always two easy patterns to work with. Especially when you are using them together.

I found that it's easier to use both types of patterns together when I choose patterns that come from the same line of paper. These papers are from American Crafts. I love the pastels... they are so very pretty!!

The photo in the layout is from last Spring when my entire family was out at my parents farm and we were able to capture photos with all of us together. Its rare that we are all together in a photo so I'm really glad that we got to get them.

Below are some close ups of the layout....

Thanks so much for joining me again for another party post! I'll be sharing another with you soon enough!!

Have a great day!!!

I love the soft and pretty colours :) Are any of those fabric papers? I seem to recognise the flowers - I have a sheet of fabric paper with flowers like that. I love how the cardstock sets of all the strips of pattern :)

I love the large flowers...you must have cut them out of the fabric paper! I should see if I have any of that sheet left and do that myself. Great idea!!

I love the way you've used these papers! I have some of them and I find them so hard to use - well done!
