I first want to tell you about this awesome Blog Candy Giveaway on Bev's blog. Click HERE to check it out!!!
So, I can't remember if I shared the actual creations that I made for Serenity's 6th Birthday, so I will go ahead and share them now. :)
I wanted Renny to have a ribbon to wear while we had her little party. I created this ribbon out of Pink Paislee papers, a doily and chipboard number 6. I then covered the number with pink glitter for the birthday gal since she loves pink and sparkles. :) I also attached a clip to the back so that I could clip it on Renny's clothes. She loved it!
I also made her birthday cake. On the Betty Crocker site they have recipes along with video tutorials on how to make some fancier cakes. I have never thought of myself as a baker, but after watching a few seasons of Cake Boss, well, I had to try. I am no Cake Boss, but I didn't do too bad!
I made cake balls in addition to the cake to put along the sides. Not sure exactly why I did this, but I love cake balls, and really wanted them! Serenity loved this cake so much! It fit her really well.
I'm proud of how I did with my two birthday projects! They may not be perfect, but they made my little girl very happy!!!
