Life and Love

"Life is the flower for which love is the honey." - Victor Hugo

This is such a great quote. I found it and loved it so much that I created this canvas. I used so many techniques which I learned from Christy Tomlinson's classes that I have taken. The stems of the flowers are rolled up patterned paper that I added some paint to in order to help them blend in with the grass. I tore apart some flowers for the bottom leaves and used some Prima ones for the leaves at the top of the stem. The flowers themselves are by Prima. 

I wanted lots of texture on this canvas.... and I think I got it! Hooray! 

I added some Glimmer Glaze to the flowers so that they would have some sparkle. I love how subtle it is.
