It's fitting that I share this today, only to make the point that I am ONLY twenty-eight years old! Why do I emphasize this? Well, yesterday at work, one of the construction guys working at my hotel asked me how old I actually was. I was thinking, "Ok, what is this guy's deal?" but decided to humor him. So, I told him, "I'm twenty-eight." He says, "Oh, wow, you're only THAT old?" I asked, " What do you mean, THAT old? How old did you think I was??" " Thirty-six." he replied. "What?!!! Thirty-Six???!!! Holy cow.... what on earth made you think that??"
Needless to say, I was slightly insulted.... not because I think that thirty-six is old, but I was under the impression I at least looked my age.... not significantly aged by eight years. Hmph. So I share this layout I created with a Lucky Girl Crafts kit to show you what I am like at age TWENTY-EIGHT! LOL
I wrote little things about me all over the bottom three fourths of the page. Love putting bullet pointed info on layouts.
I fussy cut the flowers out of the patterned paper in the kit. they look really cute cut out and with some added dimension.

I often get that I look younger than my age - mind you it is catching up with me quickly now - I often didn't get taken seriously because of this which was just as frustrating!

I am so impressed with how you can put together layouts for everything! I scrap my kids, I scrap my grandkids, I even scrapped my pond when we had it, but I don't scrap myself...maybe I should try it!
I just turned 41 and people think I'm 34-35 :) My mom has really good skin and she never looked her age either (while she coloured here hair). No one should ever admit they thought you were older than the age you tell them, unless you are 18, because usually at that age you want to be older LOL!!
Well that's just not right! I think he was a rude man. Everyone knows not to ask a woman her age in the first place, it's like a written rule some where. And you should always say that a woman looks younger than you think not older. I would say he doesn't have manners at all! I shared your story with my husband and he said you should have poked him in the eyes and told him he needs to go have his eye's checked. Lol! Love the Scrapbook page!
