Banners are still popular in scrapbooking, which is good for me, since I really enjoy making them! ;) Over at Practical Scrappers banners were the big feature yesterday. Kerri showed us some awesome examples of using banners on your layouts and cards. I definitely learned some new ideas for how to use these in my work. As well as making them in various ways. I always love seeing others work... it is really inspiring.
Anyway, since banners were the feature, I wanted to share this recent layout I created from some extras I had from a Lucky Girl Crafts kit. I have been trying to use up every single piece of scrap I have. Not having a job makes me really work on saving money!
I did another layout from Kraig and Lauren's wedding. The two of them toasting. So sweet!
As you can see, I kept my banner small and simple. I only added mini roses to the center of each one so that it would go with the rest of the flowers in the layout.
Be sure to check out today's sketch feature at Practical Scrappers. We also have a lot of other calls going on right now! You could be featured on our site! :)
And so you know, my eye feels a bit better this morning. I have to take the kids to a Dr.'s appointment today for their physicals, and you can bet I am going to ask my Dr. about it. I will sneak it in somehow. ;)
