Feels Like Home to Me

Since I have been on my own, out of my parents house, I have lived in many places. They were all what you would call home, but never fully felt like home. Until I moved here, to this house with Keith and the kids, I never really felt that same home feeling that I used to get at my parents growing up. Now i do. We may not own our house, and only rent, but it really feels like home. We have made it home. I feel safe here. I feel like I could live here for years and not want to move. Sure, it would be nice to have a bigger place, but truthfully, it feels so good here, I don't know if I would want to move any time soon. (not to mention, I don't want to help move that darn couch out of the basement again.) 

Since I have been feeling so "at home" here, I have been creating lots of stuff for our home. Like this wall hanging, that simply states: HOME. This is it for me... our home. I love it. I love how it turned out, the colors, everything. It makes me think of where I grew up and where I live now, all rolled into one. It combines so many of my loves and everyone in the family loves it as well. 

I used the March Kit, Homemade Happiness from Lucky Girl Crafts to create this, along with some random things I had lying around. It has that vintage feel which I love.
