Love is Worth Living Life

I made this layout using Simply Scrapping's Sketch 42.... once again, I LOVE these sketches! But those of you who know me, know I love a good sketch. Judy is great at making sketches! And the community is growing super fast these days... so, if you haven't joined yet, you are really missing out!

I did this layout of my Uncle Jimmy and his former wife Cindy. She is not biologically my Aunt, but she is the mother of my cousins Shawn and Jennifer, so she will ALWAYS be my Aunt Cindy. I love her so much, and she is the coolest.... seriously. She put up with so much from Jimmy... and then when he took his life, she took it so hard. She will always love him, and I know that he always loved her no matter what.

I used the title "Love is worth living life" because I wanted it to show a time in Jimmy's life that should have shown him that life was worth living. Sadly, he felt otherwise, and took his life years later after he and Cindy had divorced. Had he only known and remembered a time like his wedding day that was beautiful and he was in love... who knows. Not only that, but the two beautiful children that came out of the relationship. And he would have been a Grandpa this year because Shawn just had a baby girl three weeks ago. Jimmy missed out on so much, and we miss him dearly.

I used a lot of the K&Co Madeline collection for this layout... such a beautiful collection.

Such a sad story about your uncle but what you wrote is very true. Sadly many people have a hard time realizing these things. Beautiful LO Emily.
