This layout was done from Sketch 1 of Week 18 over at Simply Sketches. Judy made three sketches this week! I was stoked... so much in fact that I had a complete scrapfest and got all of the sketches done in two days! LOL, that isn't common for me, so I am really really proud! Esp since I really liked them all.
This first one I did about my grandpa Fulton (my mom's dad) who we lost in 1990 to cancer. I was pretty close to him for as young as I was. I wanted my children to be able to see who my grandfather (or Papa as we call them in our family) was. I wish that they could have met him, but since they can't I will scrap my memories for them.

This is a beautiful layout - and what a great memory to give your children! That will be so important someday to not only them, but their kids too!
