OMG!! It will be here on Friday!!!

My new camera!! I am stoked! I have not been this excited for a while! I purchased a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi package online!! It comes with practically everything! I get three lenses, 2 tripods, 2 memory cards, extended life battery and some other stuff that I can't remember right now! Anyway, I got the tracking information from UPS this evening and it says it should be here by the 13th, which is Friday!! Yippiee!!!! Woo Hoo!! Great camera, and I will have it in time for the weekend, to take some practice shots. Lance said he will work with me on getting some good shots, plus I have been talking with Beth at Simply Scrapping since she is a professional photographer and knows her stuff. She has been a big help giving me info and basic skill help. Go check out her photography section in the community forum. 

I will say, I was originally going to get the XSi... but I decided to save the money instead. I got a three year warrenty on the camera and the lenses. In the end I saved about $250. I am happy with my choice. One day I may sell the XTi and go get the XSi, but until then, I am peachy with what I have! It's still more professional than my regular little digital that I have now. I love my Nikon, don't get me wrong, but I wanted to be able to work on better quality of photos as well as up my skills, which is why I wanted this professional model. 

I'll be sure to snap some pictures of me with my new baby after it comes in!!
