Camera and Children

Wooo Hooo! My camera comes in today and I can go pick it up later! I was so excited thinking about it last night that I had problems sleeping. That's how nerdy I am! 

I just can't wait to start taking pictures with it and testing it out. I will have a lot of reading to do on all of the functions, but it will be worth it. 

I am off of work today, so I am home with the kids. Renny stayed with her dad last night and Austin was with us. Sometimes it's nice to give them time apart....they can get more quality time with us this way. Austin was at home last night with just me since Keith had to stay at work preparing for his committee meeting which is today. Billy will be bringing Renny over around 8:30 this morning. It won't really be a full day with the kids since Billy gets out of school by 2pm and would like the kids over sometime right after 2:30.  We don't have any fun plans for today since it it so cold out. I doubt they would want to go outside. Who knows. 

On another note, speaking of work... I am so tired of it these days. I would prefer to be at home working at this point. All I can say is, I truly admire my staff for what they have to put up with at the front desk. I loose my patience after about 8 and a half hours of working the desk. And most of my shifts up there are 10hour ones when I work a full shift. Even the 4 hour shifts were tough this week. We had a couple of groups in from our top account and well, needless to say, some of the clients were difficult. Not all, just a select few. Some people think that because I am working the front desk of a hotel that I am beneath them. I'm not saying that I am above them, but hey, doesn't everyone deserve respect? As well as respect for their property and property of their workplace? Enough ranting and raving, I know. I'll stop. Some people just really bother me with their lack of respect for others though.
