Be Grateful

Happy Monday my friends! This morning I am sharing a canvas I created using lots of beautiful Creative Inspirations Paints.

Recently, I have been inspired by all of the fall leaves and colors I am surrounded by on a daily basis when I walk to work. Thanksgiving is also coming up very soon, so many have been posting and sharing what they are grateful for this month. The two inspirations combined equal today's canvas.

Nine different paints were used from CIP in this canvas. Not only did I use the paints on the flowers, but I also used them on the canvas, the glass beads gel and a small amount on the wooden letters.

As you can see, the message of the canvas is clear. It is a nice fit for this time of year. I currently have this piece hanging in the hallway surrounded by family photos. It reminds us to be grateful for who and what we have. :)

You can see the shimmer of the paints in these various close up shots. When you look at the canvas from different angles you can see the different colors I used.

Below are the Creative Inspirations Paints used in my canvas today.

Other supplies used: canvas, Bo Bunny Khaki Dot cardstock, Prima Flowers, Wood Veneer Alpha (Studio Calico) Liquitex Glass Beads Gel, Acrylic paint , Distress Ink, Prima Stamps, Tim Holtz Stamps, StazOn Ink,

Thank you for stopping by today! Remember to join Jessica for our Weekly Inspired By Challenge! This weeks is Inspired by: Turkey Turkey!! So let us see those Thanksgiving or Turkey inspired projects!!

The Girl is Funny - Pretty Paper Party

Happy Thanksgiving!!!! May you all have lot's of turkey and yummy things to eat!!! I will be going to my sisters house to spend the holiday with her and her husband as well as my boyfriend and some other friends of ours. I can't wait! I made a cherry pie to take and will also be making some rolls in the morning. I love to cook and bake, so holidays are fun for me!

I also wanted to share this layout which I completed for Shimelle's class... I am almost done!! And I am working on my JYC album!! I have a lot of the foundation pages done. I will share them soon with you! (I just need to take some photos!)

Prompt 17 was about using black as your background, or foundation of your project.

I can't use black cardstock without adding some paint and mists....it just wouldn't be right!! I also reached into my scrap drawer for this one! All of the papers are scraps!

I'll be sure to take pics of Thanksgiving and share!!

Have a wonderful day!!!

~ My friends both online and in real life who have always been there for me
~ My ability to scrapbook a decent page which has allowed me the chance to be on design teams and be published
~ The fact that I have found myself this year and what I need to be a well-rounded person.
~ My health and that I have been fortunate enough to not be sick very much this year
~ A quick recovery from my laparoscopic gall bladder removal. (I'm just sore today!)
