Good afternoon my lovely friends! I have a canvas to show you today that was once again created for Serenity's room. I'm so excited to give them to her tomorrow when we are celebrating her birthday! I hope she likes them! Sometimes I think she will like something I make, and then am completely thrown off when she says she doesn't. :( That's kids for you though, right?
I created this using lots of lovely goodies from the Your Memories Here store! I shared this over on the blog today.
The Prima Firefly Collection was used to cover my canvas and as a background to stamp my images and quote on. I love this paper... it is super bright and colorful!
As you can see, I also added some texture using Liquitex Glass Beads Texture Gel along with some tissue paper. I love the various looks you can get with tissue paper and some Mod Podge. I layered up some flowers I had in a fuchsia color and used a pearl from a broken bracelet as the center.
You can see the dimension from the side. I love dimension!
The beads.... love them! Glimmer mist from the Your Memories Here store in several colors was used in abundance on the canvas to add more color. Banana Puddin Chalkboard, Sun Sisters and Pumpkin Spice from the store were used to add glimmer and sparkle... and also to bring out the colors of the paper.
The quote, which is from a Unity Stamp... the quote is by Ronald Dahl... I accidentally cut that off, but wanted to let you know who said it! The clock, butterfly and quote are all Unity Stamps but the rest are from the Prima Firefly collection. They are the cling stamps.
In addition to all of the Glimmer Mists, I used some of my new Creative Inspirations Paints on the canvas. All I can say is WOW... holy color!! They worked quite well with the mists that I used and the colors could be matched up, which I loved!
I used my CI Paints on this flower and the center pearl...

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now I've got to go pick up Austin and take the family out for Serenity's Birthday Dinner.... we decided to do it today, instead of on her actual birthday. Off to Johnny Rockets!!
