You Make Life Brighter

Hello my friends... hope you are all doing well. We are all good over here. The kids are in their last week of swimming lessons which have been going really well. When we first started, they were both a bit tentative about the water. I am not a swimmer... I can basically save myself and my kids if I needed, but that's about it. I was never taught as a child how to swim. So, we really wanted the kids to know how. It's important to us. Maybe the kids will end up teaching me something! 

Today I have a card share using a stamp from Unity that I absolutely love. The lamp is so pretty! I stamped the image on kraft for the main part, and then again on some chevron patterned paper and cut out the shade. I used some dimensional dots to give it some dimension. I used one of my edge punches for the bottom of the card. 

My brother fell in love with this card when he saw it, so don't tell him, but I think I will be giving it to him! ;) His room is in the basement which is where my studio is, so he always gets first peek at whatever I am making and this card was one of his faves. :) It's nice having him live with us... I never thought I would like living with my siblings again, but he is probably the best to live with! (Shh...don't tell my sisters!)
