I've decided that I am going to try and do a Top Ten list every Tuesday, whether it be likes, dislikes, annoyances for the week.. whatever. Just something to get me a blogging more and hopefully learn a little more about my followers as well!
So, my top ten for today are the top ten things that annoy me about drivers in the STL metro area.
1. Drivers that refuse to get out of the far left lane when they are clearly driving under the speed limit... or just at.
2. Drivers that tailgate.... and I am not driving that slow. Nuff said.
3. Rubbernecking. It seriously makes me crazy. Do we really have to stop in the middle of the highway headed North to see Granny getting a ticket on the Southbound side??
4. People who can't merge.... I swear, people around here have NO clue. Like they never got behind the wheel of a car until THAT day!!
5. USE YOUR BLINKER!!!!! But please turn if off after you change lanes or turn... it's freaking annoying to watch your blinker going for the next ten miles.
6. Waiting until the last minute to decide that you need to be in front of me... even though there are like three car spaces BEHIND me.... and then you don't use that blinker we talked about above... you just swing on over, causing me to have to slam on my brakes, pissing off everyone who comes up behind me and making ME look like the A-hole. Thanks buddy.
7. The buttholes who are playing on their cell phones, whether talking or texting and swerving all over... then have the nerve to flip ME the bird when they are the one's driving bad!
8. Drivers who litter. I seriously want to ram my car into theirs. I can not stand to see someone throw something from their car.... esp if it is a drink or food... because usually whatever they threw out their window ends up on my nice, clean Rondo.. and I'm pissed.
9. Drivers who take forever to pass. If you don't give it any gas, you're never going to pass... and just annoy a bunch of people.
10. Bumper stickers.... Ok, I know some of you may have some, but hear me out. If you are going to spout on your bumper sticker that you are all religious and want to save babies and don't want others to "kill" theirs then don't drive crazy and practically cause an accident that will TAKE a life!! Out here I've noticed the more religious, the more dangerous of a driver... makes me worry about my life!

ReplyDeleteI HATEHATEHATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ppl who do not use their blinkers!!! It causes major road rage for me! I always say to everyone "if you can't/are to lazy to use a blinker then you are to stupid to be driving period." lol some people
Let me just say that I'm glad to not be sitting in rush hour twice a day anymore. :-(
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll add one you forgot... no one in this city can drive if there's any kind of bad weather... rain, snow, ice. It's pitiful.
I should have said, "MOST people can't drive..." I have no issues with bad weather. Snow doesn't bother me a bit. It just bothers me when the driver in front of me can't handle it & then I'm stuck behind them.... LOL
ReplyDeleteahh yes infamous road idiots!hubby says if he ever became a cop he would ONLY give tickets to people who dont use their blinkers(he would still make quota where we live ,PROMISE!)
