Through Emily's Eyes: 8 Years is Too Long! I've Missed this Girly!

Sunday morning I went to the Casino Queen across the river from the Arch on the Illinois side. I went over there not to gamble, but to see a friend I had not seen in YEARS! Seriously, it has been 8 years. Niki and I were roommates almost every summer of our High School years at Show Choir camp at EIU in Charleston, IL. We had a blast rooming together. She even came to visit me one summer at my home in Nokomis. Sadly, I never visited her. My parents were not big on me traveling like that. However, I was soooo lucky to get to see her when she came to St Louis for a concert this past weekend. Anyway, we had a blast for the short time we saw each other, and I got to meet her boyfriend Matt as well. I am sooooo happy we got to see each other, and you better believe that I am going to the Chicago area to see her soon!!
