Who loves You? We do! Train Album and Box for GJS!

Hi there friends! Today I have a project to share that I created using the Genuinely Jane Studios Train Album(202). Recently, my fiance's brother and sister-in-law had a baby boy. Unfortunately, we live in Missouri and they live in DC, so visiting each other isn't as easy as we would like it to be. So Simon will know how much we love him, I used the Train Album (G202) to decorate this box and create a mini album to place inside that will eventually hold photos of all of us here in Missouri who love little Simon!

The box was just a wooden box I found at Goodwill. I used old Sassafrass Lass papers to decorate the train page on the top of the box, as well as the rest of the Album on the inside. In addition to the album, I also used some Faber-Castell Pitt Brush Pens along the patterned paper's edges which gives them more texture. The page on the box was painted with a Sunshine Yellow Adirondack Paint Dabber before the paper was added, and the remaining pages of the album were colored using Dylusions Spray in Black Marble.

After I finished the box, I felt as though I needed more, so I added some yellow cardstock along the edges and hand doodled some stitching, as well as added some arrows from the Studio Calico Wood Veneers Hearts and Arrows pack, which I adore!! These are so much fun! I used some Staz-On Ink in Jet Black to color the arrows.
This book is going to be so much cuter once I choose some photos to put in it of all of us! I can't wait!
