I Heart {ippity} Blog Hop - Let's have some fun!!!!

Good Morning my friends and Welcome to the I Heart {ippity} Design Team Blog Hop!

Before I share my project, let me give you a little bit of background on {ippity}....

If you are not familiar with {ippity} then you are missing out!  {ippity} is a line of rubber stamps manufactured by the Unity Stamp Co.  The {ippity} line is separate from the Unity line but has the same wonderful quality,  it is marketed though Unity Endorsed {ippity} Chicks, reps for {ippity}.  Heather is an {ippity} CHICK and would love to be yours!  To order {ippity} just go to the Unity Website and on the left hand side click {ippity} - Pick a CHICK & Order.  That will take you to the {ippity} chick page where you can pick Heather Flaherty as your {ippity} Chick

If you have just happened along, please start at the beginning of our hop at www.iheartippity.com. Our AMAZING design team has lots of inspiration for you, so you can get your hands inky and have fun with {ippity} and Unity Stamps!

I created a card using the {ippity} set IPK-143 How YOU Doin'.

I absolutely love this stamp set. It is basically my go to set for any occasional card since it covers practically everything with just a few little words! It definitely covers the basics!

Here is the card I made:

The flowers were made by stamping the flower stamp on three different patterns and colors of paper. I then cut them out individually and layered the parts of the flower in the colors I wanted as needed. I added pearls to the centers. The bottom sticker I just glued down and the top one is adhered with a dimensional dot. The sentiment below was stamped on Kraft, cut out, inked and added using more dimensional dots.

Supplies besides {ippity}:
Kraft cardstock
Echo Park For the Record paper
Doodlebug brads and pearls
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
StazOn Ink in black and red
Dimensional dots

Most of our hoppers love {ippity} and Unity, so you are all stampers.... so my question is, how often do YOU use your stamps on patterned papers and piece things together? Or do you prefer the stamp and color method? Like using copics, watercolors, etc to color in your stamped image? Let me know in the comments!

Heather is giving away a prize to one person who comments on all of the DT blogs!  So get commenting!

You should head over to Gerry's blog now to see her awesome creation for today's hop... you will love her work!!!! Here is the lineup in case you get lost.

Emily, I love your choice of Echo Park paper with the stamp set you used. Fabulous dimension and very eye appealing.
I love to stamp all sorts of ways. I love to stamp on solid colors and leave it alone, stamp on basic tones and color in with my Watercolor markers or paints, and ADORE paper piecing stamped images on pattern paper.
Happy Hop Day!!!

I love the card. I really like the patterned paper you chose for the flowers. I stamp on patterned paper about 1/4 of the time. I stamp and color about 1/4 of the time, the other 1/2 I am using a solid stamp, sentiment stamps, or leaving the image uncolored.
