Shimmerz Tags

Morning friends! Only a day or two before the weekend! Have anything exciting planned? I do! We have an exciting weekend planned. On Saturday I work at the store but on Sunday, we get to go to this:
Yay! Keith and I, along with his parents who are coming from Ohio will be attending the Cardinals VS Indians game at the Stadium! I won't lie, I will NOT be rooting for my home team, but for the Indians, since this is really a Tribe household thanks to Keith. :) The chance to see the Indians play the Cardinals only happens in St. Louis every six years, so this is a big deal for us! I was fortunate enough to get the tickets from my boss as a kind of bonus he gives all of the employees. We got to pick our game, and of course I picked this one! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and share in another post!

Today, I have some tags to share that I created using some products from Happy N Scrappin' such as Shimmerz paints, Distress Ink, Kraft cardstock and more.

This first tag was created using various layers of Shimmerz in different colors to achieve the colorful effect it has. I used the same layering on the flower at the top.

Such lovely shimmer!

This second tag was made using kraft cardstock with Distress Ink and a light layer of Shimmerz paint over it. I used my sketch pen to doodle on the stitching.

The heart is corrugated cardboard with the Shimmerz painted on it in two layers.

Be sure to pop on over to my blog post at the Happy N Scrappin' Blog to read more about how I made the tags!

Don't forget about the I Heart {ippity} blog hop that we are having starting tomorrow!! See you tomorrow! There will be great prizes and a lot of inspiration!!

It shouldn't be called distressing, it should be called enlightening!
