The Hair Cut

Apparently Serenity is a hot topic with me and my layouts these days! Probably because she is the one who loves to have her picture taken more. Are any of your kids that way? Serenity loves to model, as most of you know by now, but Austin is such a pill when it comes to having his picture taken. I don't know why, since he's so damn cute, but he can't stand it. And if I do get him to stand still for a photo, 99% of the time he WON'T even SMILE!!! Grrrr!!!! 

So, until I can get some better pictures of him, I will be forever building up my layouts of Renny. Like today's.... her first, real haircut by a stylist. I was so proud of her this day. My good friend Mark cut it at his home studio which made it a lot easier on all of us, and Renny went from having hair almost to her butt to having it right at her shoulders! It was a big change, but she immediately embraced it. And she talked to Mark through the entire thing. I swear, the two of them sounded like a couple of gossipy ladies! It was funny listening to the two of them. 

The Handmade and Field Guide kits from Studio Calico were used again to make this layout. I also threw in some of my own stash such as the scissors stamp, journaling block and polka dot Thickers.
