Peace!

Peace baby!!! This is what Serenity said as she was modeling some of her Aunt Bette's clothes for us with this one particular outfit. I will say, that the phrase coming out of her mouth along with this particular outfit totally fit well together. She's such a ham when it comes to dressing up, playing and well, life in general. I don't know where she gets her sense of humor, but boy is it great! 

I'm still using the Handmade kit from Studio Calico. You will be seeing a lot more 8x8 layouts using this kit. I  feel like I am doing so well at using my kits to the fullest extent. Since taking the Pretty Paper Party class, I have felt more comfortable doing this. I used to always have a bunch of stuff left over from any kits that I would buy, and then the remainder would just sit there, or end up in my scrap drawer. No more will that happen! Hooray! It sounds so funny to be proud of something so small, but for me, this is such a big deal! 

The sequined gold trim that I used along the side of the layout was found at a yard sale in a box full of old vintage trims and goodies. Finding crafty surprises such as this is always great. 

Since today's layout is about my little girl, I thought I would share this video of her that I recorded of her dancing. I think it's super cute and funny. I'm definitely biased, but we shall see if you agree! ;)
