Seasonal Holiday Photo Share

I thought I would share some photos that I have taken this month during the holiday season with you today! I've been using my iPhone for all of my photos and they were edited with Instagram. I love Instagram! I'm sure I have shared it with you a million times already... but I'll say it again: I LOVE it! 

Anyway.... here are some of the things that have been going on in our lives here in St.Louis! 

Keith and I watched my nephew Aiden about a week ago and we took him to Tilles Park Winter Wonderland of lights. He loved it. Shoot, I LOVED IT!! 

For the troops! 

Very neat tunnel made from strings of lights....

Tree!! 

At the very end was this Happy Holidays! The music comes out of the horn.... it's animated in person! 

We also finally got the house decorated! Hooray! We don't do anything big or fancy. Keith and I both like basic white lights on the house, and to keep it simple. Not to mention, Keith is the one who does most of the work, so if we got any fancier, I dread imagining how it would look!

Another great thing about the Christmas season: the various treats that you can find!!! Hehe... and make! 

Clementines!! OMG, we wait a full year for these to be back in season.... we got these at SAMS. Love love love. I kid you not, we were down to less than ten in less than a day. :) That's how much everyone around here loves them! 

Making holiday candy and treats is a fun part of the season. It takes a LOT of powdered sugar to make our treats!! Keith bought 3 huge bags!! 

That powdered sugar was used to make these buckeyes! Keith is from Ohio so buckeyes are big there. His mom always makes them this time of year, and so we do too. Keith made these with Serenity to take to his holiday work party.

And the product of letting a six year old help you make buckeyes and what happens when you leave her with the remaining chocolate! LOL. She really does look happy with herself though! Hehe.
