I have two more pages to share with you today of my JYC album. I don't have one to show you from the second of December because I haven't added a photo to it yet. I will be sure to share it with you when it is completed. :)
On the third, we discussed how we handle cards during the holiday season. I'll be honest, normally I suck at making cards. And suck is the appropriate word here, no joke! When I say that, I am not taking myself seriously... honestly, my cards are generally pretty basic, but the big thing with me and cards for the holidays is this: I let myself get too stressed!! I get so stressed when it gets close to Dec 1st if I don't have many cards made, and then because I am stressed, I don't make more or end up not sending any! So I wrote myself I letter reminding myself of this and making a promise to myself to send some, even if just a few, out this year. Guess what? I have some cards made and ready to sign and send out tomorrow! I did it!
On the fourth we were to write about what the perfect Christmas would be to us. I created a page inspired by and using lyrics from the song "My Grownup Christmas List." I have included the first two verses and beginning of the chorus as well on the layout. My perfect Christmas would be if I could have something that has always been on my Christmas list... to have had one more Christmas with my Grandma Fulton. Yes, this seems childish to wish for something that won't come true... but you honestly never know. And it is my dream of a perfect Christmas.
Thank you so much for stopping by to share in my JYC this year so far! All of your comments and the fact that you just dropped in are appreciated!

Thanks for sharing your pages.
I suck at cards too and have no problem buying them:)
Love love love love these pages!! I have gotten better at making Christmas cards... but this year I am behind!! :):):):):):):):):):):)
I love how you're documenting your December! I hope you get your wish.
Awesome prompts & I love the pages! I don't get crafty with our Christmas cards. I order them. Just finding a decent photo of us from the past year is stressful enough! LOL.
Hello Emily
Loving your pages. I don't make my own cards AT ALL, because they really are awful, but I love scrapbooking... how bizarre is that! Looking forward to seeing your album progress thru class!
