I finally have some finished pages to share with you from my JYC album! Hooray! I am so sorry for the quality of the photos. They suck. I really need a new camera. I have been using my iPhone to take pictures, but for some reason can't get a good shot in for this album! If any of you have any good suggestions on how to take good layout photos with an iPhone 3GS (so there isn't a flash) please leave me a comment! I'd greatly appreciate it!
Here is my first page for this JYC... my Manifesto. I loved the Manifesto that Shimelle gave us, so I used it. I cut it into strips and made a little Christmas tree. I like how it turned out.
The flip side of the manifesto page is my journaling for this day. Each day I am using one sheet of double sided cardstock and on the front side is the photo/image for the day and the other side is for me to journal . I want little to no journaling on the front side. The layouts are to speak for themselves without the journaling, and then have the journaling go into more depth about the layout on the reverse side. Maybe this isn't the best idea, but I am loving how it is turning out.
I feel so bad that my images are so awful! These photos seriously do NOT do them justice! Keith would agree with me on this. (Trust me, he will tell me if they are good or bad!)
I hope if you are in the JYC class that you are enjoying it as much as I am! Link your blog in the comment and I'll come by and see you!!!

I love the idea of turning the strips into a tree!
I think they look GREAT!!! LOVING that tree!!! And I don't have the Iphone... but I do know that taking pics out in natural light outside (not in the sun directly) always look better... I don't know if you have tried that yet... but it might help! :):):):):):):):):):):)
Love how you made the tree with your journaling strips!
The tree is darling! Very inspired. I like the idea of using both sides of the double sided PP.
I think photot LO on one side and journaling on the other sounds like a great plan. and your pages looks great so far :) have you tried taking your photos outside and using natural light as your phone has no flash? Px
