Since the kids went to their Dad's for Christmas evening and Monday, Keith and I decided that since it was just the two of us, we would try to make pizza. We wanted it from scratch...as much as we could. So, I looked on All Recipes for an easy pizza crust recipe that wouldn't take hours to rise and Keith went to the store for the rest of the supplies. We already had homemade pizza sauce in the fridge since Keith had made it the other day for pasta, so it was pretty simple to get the rest of the items.
We decided on a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. This is how it looked before it went in the oven.

And when the pizza came out? Well.....
Talk about good!!! The pizza turned out great! The crust was fabulous! I couldn't believe that a crust could turn out so well. I think I will make our crust from scratch from now on!
Who wouldn't want a piece of this?? You can't tell me that you wouldn't eat it.... depending on the toppings that is.

this looks awesome- I love homemade pizza but need to get a pizza pan like you show in your picture.
I worked today- boo but easy when everybody else is gone.
