At the beginning of the month, the kids had their Holiday Sing. All of the grades at the school perform two songs each for their families in a Holiday concert at the beginning of December. The kids work really hard to prepare, and some even have dance, vocal or instrumental solos. Both of my kids played the xylophone for their respective classes. It was great! I love seeing my kids enjoy themselves performing. They are just like their mother!
As I shared in one of my JYC posts, my camera is missing. I sold my Digital SLR, but had a great point-and-shoot that I used to use as backup, except I can't find it. I pulled one of those moments where I hide something from the kids, but it ends up backfiring and I never find what I hid for a long long time. That's pretty much what I did in this case with my camera. Poo. So I have been taking photos with my iPhone. They are a good quality, but you can't take photos with flash on the version that I have. So I couldn't take any while the kids were performing. I already knew that this was going to be the issue, so I took some photos before the concert of the kids and Keith and myself with them while they were all dressed up. I'm glad I did... they turned out cute!

I used my Instagram app on my phone to edit the photos. I shared them through my Instagram account. I LOVE that app!! It's so much fun! If you have an iPhone, you should get it! You will love it!

I first want to thank you for commenting on my blog. Your kids are adorable! You have a VERY nice looking family. Your photos are perfectly fine with your phone. I haven't mastered taking pics with my phone yet, they're always blown out. Needs adjusting I think.
