Visiting Family and Some Modeling

Yesterday was a great day for us. We went to visit my parents with the kids and my brother. As I've shared in other posts, I love going to visit my parents, no matter how crazy things may get there at times. Being out on the farm is one of the best things. There is just something about being out on a farm. I can't say that right now, during the time of the year where the leaves are pretty much off of the trees that it is the prettiest out there, but it is still really nice. 

Before we got to the farm, we stopped by the Dollar store for some artificial flowers and a wreath to put on my grandparents and uncles graves. I hadn't been out with new flowers in quite some time, and I adore poinsettias so it seemed like the right time to replace them. 

For my grandparents, we got white flowers and a wreath to hang above the stone. It looks so beautiful. 

Uncle Jimmy got red flowers. They look quite pretty as well. So now both of the graves have their seasonal flowers. I think my family would be happy. 

The next time I go to the cemetery and replace flowers again will be when there is snow on the ground, after Christmas and the New Year. I'm not sure what kind of flowers I will get then, but I look forward to taking photos when there is snow on the ground and new flowers to share. 

The next photos I have to share are from my parents house. Bette, my little sister has a Christmas dance that she is preparing for, and she really wanted to show me the dress that she got. It is super cute! She looks so grown up in it. While she was trying on the dress, she shared her dress from last year with me. Bette is a tiny girl, so when I saw her dress from last year, to me it looked like something Serenity could wear. So I asked Bette to put it on Renny so they could come out and do a fashion show for the family in their formal wear. LOL

Bette in her dress for this year. She has grown up so fast. Her fourteenth birthday was last week. 

After the ladies shared their formal wear, Bette turned into a stylist and Renny into a model (as always) and they had a real fashion show for us, with outfit changes and everything! 

The first outfit... I love the fur on the tops of the boots she is wearing. 

A very simple outfit of jeans and a tee. 

And here Renny is, rocking a sheer blouse with a vest and matching headband. Super stylish!

Ready for winter, yet oh so fashionable in a fur lined vest, jeans and some brown boots. 

The last outfit was a simple striped top, jeans and flip flops. Not appropriate for winter wear, but a great spring/summer look for next year! 

While the girls were giving us the fashion show, Austin was lounging on Bette's bed with Oreo the cat. Oreo is a very unique cat. He will let you do anything to him. Normally though, he will not lay on anyone but Bette or my parents. In this case though, he made an exception and buddied up to Austin.
