Liquid Sunshine: Q&A

I saw this on my friend Nora's blog and thought it would be fun! Not to mention, there are some great prizes up for grabs! 

Favorite season, and why?   Fall - It's perfect... I love the cool weather where I can wear cute jeans and sweaters or long sleeves, my scarves, and cute boots. The change in the colors are wonderful as well... fall colors are just so beautiful, how could anyone not love them?! 

How would you describe your personal style?  I'm pretty standard as far as what I wear. I prefer jeans and a cute top. Nothing fancy or special. Add light makeup, cute shoes and some jewelry, and I am ready to go. I love my tennis shoes and heels. I always bounce back and forth between the two! 

What's one weird thing you can do? (The stranger the better!)   Believe it or not, I can't think of anything... if you know me well and can think of something, please let me know... I may not think it weird, but normal! 

Rain or shine?  Shine.... rain is nice, but I really love the shine that comes AFTER the rain. It is always so nice!! 

Confession time... what's a flaw of yours?  I smoke... such a bad habit and really bad for me, I know. I need to quit. 

Favorite music?  I grew up on Country music, but really love everything. Country is probably still my favorite, but I listen to everything imaginable. There is satellite radio in my car so I have all sorts of channels which is great. 

Have you ever made a decision you instantly regretted? What was it?  I quit a job at a hotel a few years ago, and when I did it, I had some instant doubts. Apparently with good reason, because the person who was my immediate supervisor whom I couldn't stand, lost his job within a week of me leaving. I would have had a great chance to move up within the company. And it was a really good one at that. I still moved up in the industry, but it took a little longer and I had to move to a couple of different hotels in order to do it. 

Who do you admire/look up to?  My late Grandma Fulton. She was a wonderful woman who would do anything for her family, friends or community.

You've just won an unlimited lifetime supply of... what?  Scrapbooking/Crafting supplies of course!!!! 

If you were an animal, what would you be?  A bird... probably an eagle or something like that. I want to fly above it all. That freedom would be awesome! 

If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do with your time?  I'd travel with my kids and boyfriend and fly on an airplane, see the ocean, see another country... do everything I would want to do before I die, but with those I love! 

You're now a gazillionaire... where do you go to spend your money?  The same places I always shopped before. I would probably still do most of my shopping online. I'd take care of my family and bills first before spending it on fun stuff though. 

Classical music: love it or hate it?  In between. I don't hate any kind of music, I just tend to tire of some genres quicker than others. Classical is great for when I am relaxing and reading a book or writing a letter. 

Phobias?  Fire, drowning, clowns and tornadoes. 

Hop on a plane and go live somewhere for a year... where is it, and why?  Germany... I want to learn more about my heritage. Plus, there is so much history there that I am interested in seeing first hand, that it would be the perfect place. Not to mention, a year would give me time to learn what I want about the country and it's rich history. 

Are you an extrovert or an introvert?  EXTROVERT!!! 

Would you/do you perform on stage?  I have performed on stage many times. I would do it again, but I am not interested in singing these days. I have been the opening act for Joe Diffie, sang at the Illinois State fair, and been in many many talent contests over the years. On a rare occasion I will go karaoke, but that isn't very often. I should say VERY rarely I go.
