We're going on a Egg Hunt, we're gonna catch some eggs...

Yesterday was my turn to post over at the HappyNScrappin' Blog. I have to say, it has been a challenge working with the Flower Patch collection from Making Memories. I'm not going to lie, I am not much of a holiday scrapper. So many people are great about scrapping each and every holiday... not me. I barely can get a page out sometimes when it comes to a holiday. We may celebrate the holiday and I may take some pictures, but I don't really make enough to create an album or it's just a quick blip in my album.

So working with lines that are primarily about a holiday or one particular season can be tricky for me. Which of course, a lot of the Flower Patch line is related to Easter/Spring. However, as you saw before from my last HappyNScrappin' post, I have been able to make this line work, and have been extremely happy with the results!

For this weeks post, I created this Easter layout using the line and some goodies of my own.

I have a ton of the doilies in my stash from when I worked at my last job. We had a Country Inn & Suites in our company that I would help out at on occasion and the paper doilies are something that they use in their meeting room for the water glass trays. I asked if I could have some and they sent me home with a huge stack full in a bag. I was stoked. Doilies are fun to use in paper crafting, and I am seeing them all over the place, so it was great to get a bunch free of charge. :)

Here are a few close ups of the layout...

Be sure to go over to my post at HappyNScrappin' for all of the details!!! Thanks for looking!
