Time for some goals - Blogging for Scrapbookers. P1

Afternoon! About a year or so ago, I discovered the awesome blog of Shimelle. She is hands down, one of the most inspirational and talented people I have run across in the scrapbooking world. Her classes are the best, and really help focus more on telling the story as opposed to just placing pictures on a pretty page. Although, that is fun too!

When I discovered her blog, I discovered her classes, and one that really interested me was Blogging for Scrapbookers. It is such a great class. I found it after it had already ended, but luckily for me, they are having the class again, and this time I can participate live! Woo Hoo! Taking this class is also another way for me to discover other blogs and new friends.

The first prompt was sent out a few days ago. It was about goals for your blog. I never had really thought about having blogging goals. I don't know why, but I just hadn't. So, I thought about it and realized that I did have some goals that I would like to meet with my blog... and I created a scrapbook page about it!

My goals are clearly listed on the layout above as you can see. Basically, I have three main goals that I would like to focus on.

~ Blog at least three times per week.
~ Out of those three times or more, have at least one post not be scrapbooking realated, but about what's going on in my life
~ Don't treat blogging as a chore. I do this on occasion and I don't allow myself freedom with my thoughts or words.

I need to realize that it's okay to not have everything perfect, and as long as what I am blogging about means something to me, THAT is most important. Of course it's nice to have others come visit your blog and leave you love, but I can deal with having followers that don't always comment.

If I can get the attention of just one person, that is what matters to me. And I will have words down that my children will be able to read later in life.

Thank you for stopping by!

Nice goals. Right now I don't really post about my life, but I think I might try to do that occasionally. Found you through BFS.
