Good morning my Blogger friends!!! I am super excited today!! It was my first post for the HappyNScrappin' store's blog this morning! I would love for you all to go over and check it out. There are some other great projects on the blog that have been created with supplies that can be found in the store. Not to mention, the prices are EXCELLENT! Here is a part of my blog post, but it would be awesome if you could head over to the store blog and check it out in full!!!
I was thrilled when I found out I got to work with My Mind's Eye (MME) State of the Heart collection this week. Seriously, it is perfect for Valentines day layouts, cards, gifts, decorations, etc that you may need to make. I decided since I don't really have many Valentines Day decorations around that I would create a banner for our house. The collection worked perfect for it! Below is how it turned out.

I also took some close up shots of a few of my favorite flags on the banner so you can see how I did them.
I hope you liked this. It was really easy to do. I prefer, when creating banners, to give them some strength behind the patterned paper or cardstock, so my secret is to cut cardboard triangles for the flags, and THEN adhere the PP over them and decorate. It creates a longer lasting, tougher banner.
Here are the products that I used from the Store to create the banner:

I can't wait to share what I have for you next Thursday!! I will also be having a giveaway!
P.S. Yes, my walls are green. LOL I realized how green when taking the pictures!
