The day to Live Loud

Walk, baby, walk... they grow up so fast, don't they? Aiden is only my nephew and I am in awe as to how fast he is growing up. He learns something new every day, picks up on it all so darn fast! I so love having him and Dora around... I know that things aren't always easy, but we are working hard together to make everything work and I know we can make it work if we all work together. 

Dora, his mom just recently lost her job. It has been rough on her, but I know she can make it through. She has a wonderful support system here. Keep her in your thoughts please and keep your fingers crossed that she gets a job soon! Thanks! 

Now.... on to my layout..... 

If you are going to live, you better Live Loud! 

The kids in this house definitely live loud.... and yes, pun intended. :) They express themselves loudly and let their presence be known. I love it!

This is my nephew Aiden being a big boy and walking toward the playground all on his own. No one holding his hand. It brings tears to my eyes.... I love it. 

The sketch used to create this is the first sketch of the month from Simply Scrapping Crafts for September. We have started something new with the Sketchy Saturday too.... we have decided to add twists!! Woo Hoo!! I love adding twists! So every Saturday we will have a new sketch along with a twist and our Design Team examples! I am super super excited... we have some great twists lined up for all of the future Sketchy Saturdays. Makes the sketches not so ordinary, and just adds a little something. We'd love to have more players so come join us! 

If you didn't figure it out, this weeks twist was to use buttons on your layout. I rarely use buttons, so this was a great twist for me! I know, seems silly because buttons are so common, but I just don't use them that often and have a ton! Luckily I got to pull them out for this one... not to shabby, huh? 

I  used the Pink Ninja's Addicts kit *Please Play this Song on the Radio* and it's add on *Electric Youth* to create this layout.... which both ROCK!!
