You are a bad driving hyp-o-crite!!

I won't lie, I'm not the most religious person, but, I do have morals and believe that you should definitely do unto others.. you know the deal. Anyway, on my way to work the other day, I was driving along, and this truck came up behind me and was riding my rear... this is typical of St. Louis drivers unfortunately. I decided to speed up thinking he would get the point and that I understood he wanted me to hurry. Unfortunately, he thought otherwise... he came up on my behind, honked, flew around me, and cut me off! That's when I noticed his license plate:  4JESUS. Not really the way I would think that Jesus wanted someone to treat another. I sighed... drove on... he decided to slam on his brakes, with no one in front of him for at least half a mile. I admit, I was pissed... I slammed on my brakes, almost causing a collision behind me, and swerved into the next lane to pass.... which I did. Apparently he was not happy. He came up beside me, honked, flipped the bird then cut me off.... AGAIN. I drive a Rondo, 4-cylinder that has good pickup, but not that good! I can only go so fast! So, I got over into the slow lane thinking he would leave me alone.... I was wrong. He flew over two lanes to cut me off so close that I had to slam on my brakes and swerve onto the side of the road. By this time I am so f-ing pissed, I will not deny it. I don't like to play games when driving... it's not safe!     So, I stayed on the side of the road until all was clear and drove to work, pissed off and frustrated with someone who could be a hypocrite. If you are going to put it out there that you do something for Jesus, treat others that way!! Don't be a hypocrite! I know we all are, but geeze, to put it out there is to put yourself in a position where you shouldn't do things such as this.

Ok, I'm done venting.... I hope 4JESUS prays over how he drives.

Maybe he stole that car?!

Haha..unfortunately, as someone who grew up on the "inside" of churches...most people who attend churches are like that.

The problem is: there are people who are truly, really, following God's word who now almost can't say, "Oh, yeah, I'm a Christian" because of the connotations it has now because of those idiots who want to appear to be Christians and appear to have some hard row to hoe. :( It's so sad. It sounds like that guy needs some help steering himself in the right direction. ;)

So sorry you had to deal with that and then still work all day! What a jerk! As a side note - when we went to Calif. a few years back for DS's promotion to AF Major, our rental car was a Rondo - we absolutely loved it! The windows were fabulous - no blind spots at all! You, my dear, have a nice ride! Hugs! Thanks for coming over to follow me :)

oh my.. I can just imagine.. you should have taken his licence and reported him.. teach him the Lord of the Road doesn't like people like him... One day he will get his .. picking on you like that. Crazy people out there , don't deserve to be driving.
Hope your travels are safer.Xx

Unfortunately, the roads are full of people like this guy, and even more unfortunately, there are so many people out there who want to display themselves to the world as "christians" (notice the quotes and no caps), and their behavior is usually anything but.

Glad you made it to work safely! Big hugs!
