Spinning... round and round and round.........

She enjoyed spinning on the spinner, or whatever it is called at the big playground in Forest Park. Last year when we would go, Serenity didn't care for it too much. We've learned Renny pretty much does her own thing. Austin is the child who goes out and makes a friend quickly to play with. He has to have someone else playing with him. Renny is perfectly content playing by herself. There are times where I will find her in her room sitting on the floor playing house with her toys. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was young. I used to go in my room by myself and play Barbies for hours. Or I would curl up with a book and read. I didn't really want to be around others. Living in the country there weren't a lot of kids around to play with anyway... you just make do with what you have. That's how Serenity is at times. She is in her own world, and she is fine with it. I like that. I like how both of the kids are alike in ways yet so very different. It definitely makes life interesting!

It's been a crazy week. My boss is out of town, and I am starting to get into my new position at the hotel. I don't believe I ever posted here, but I was given the Director Of Sales position at the hotel! AKA DOS. I am leaving on the 6th for training in Memphis at Hilton Corp. I've never been to Memphis... I'm excited! But I hate traveling alone! Ugh. I'm sure I will survive though! If you know any good places to visit in Memphis, please let me know!! I only have a little free time, but I would like to see at least a few places! Thanks ahead for any suggestions!

The layout of Serenity was made using the Pink Ninja Addicts kits *Sing for the Moment* and *Fireflies*
