Who's Ready for a Blog Giveaway??

I realized when I was posting the other day that I am close to having 500 posts! I can't believe I have actually blogged that much! And in less than two years! I only really began blogging seriously when I got more serious about scrapbooking.

Since I have been creating, I have met so many wonderful people who I consider my friends. The girls I have designed with, those who have left me kind comments on my blog and galleries and so many more! Thank you all so very much! And thank you to all of the DT's both past and present for the opportunities you have given me! 

I love kits, and one of my favorite kit clubs has always been Bad Girls Kit Club. They were one of the first kit clubs I found. If you have never seen a Bad Girls Kit, you are seriously missing out!! They totally rock. 

Anyway, a while back, Wendy Rago, the founder and owner, and fabulous designer did a sale on some past kits to raise money for the Haiti disaster. Seriously, who could pass up awesome kits that were half off and a chance to help a good cause!? I had to get some kits... so I bought three. And I just waited to get them... and waited, and waited. After almost a week and a half, I decided to contact Bad Girls Kits and Wendy. I know, it doesn't seem like I waited very long, but if you know Wendy, you know she gets her kits shipped out ASAP!!  Well, we ended up figuring out that somehow my old address had gotten through in the system, even though I had changed it both on the site and on PayPal. It was a total fluke... and according to the USPS, the box had been delivered to my old place, and when they went to look, well, they never found it. I was so upset. I explained to Wendy what had happened and gave her the USPS info for my area as well, and you know what? Wendy told me she would send me three new kits to the correct address!! Yup, she sent me three MORE kits since the originals were lost!! I couldn't believe it! What a wonderful businesswoman! A great way to keep loyal customers!! And I got my kits... Wendy even told me that if the original ones were ever found I could keep them as well and share with some scrappy friends.
