I'm Dreaming of a Hot Summer............

Saturday the newest Sketchy Saturdays challenge went up at Simply Scrapping Crafts! Yay!! The sketch is awesome... you should head over and check out what the rest of the DT did as well!! I did this layout while dreaming of summer............ ah, I long for it. I found this picture of Austin that I absolutely adore, while searching for the stuff to make this layout. This was taken at our old place by WashU in the duplex we lived in. We used to take the little kiddie wading blowup pool and set it up in the front yard. I would give the kids the hose as it was filling and they would just have a blast! I did too. Keith and I would even get in to cool off. If you have ever been to St.Louis in the summer, you know how awful the summers can be, and would understand why two grown people would get in a kiddie pool in the front yard of a duplex that sits on a VERY busy street!!
