So tonight we had a lady come in to check in with us and she seemed pretty upset, not to mention intoxicated. We have a policy that if you check in before 7am then you must check out at noon that day. So, if you would come and check in at 5am with me, you must check out in 7 hours at noon. This rule can really piss some people off.... surprise surprise.
Anyway, the girl, not really a lady, I should say decided that she would wait until 7am..... well, that was fine with me until I saw that she had a very tiny infant boy in her arms. She was also walking around without shoes... the mother that is.... and like I said, she was intoxicated. I didn't want her to have the baby out in the lobby for 4 hours, so the compassionate part of me gave in and said we could go ahead and check her in as normal, and she wouldn't have to check out until the next day. She began crying, and bawling.... it was sad.
It turns out that her baby's father's family had gotten mad because she had been drinking (yet they told her to go out) and then dumped her off at the hotel with her infant son. Ok, so she was drinking while her son was safe and sound with family? She got back late, I can see that, but it's no reason to wake up the baby to drag his mother and him to a hotel. Ugh.
People really frustrate me sometimes....... I wish I could just understand!

That's crazy! And truely girl you don't want to "understand" b/c that means you've had to either go thru it or know someone who has. No f'n way! I would rather stay ignorant and just be stunned and call the po!

Buying memory is such a time consuming process... You have to Google prices, sort through which ones are genuine, visit a bunch of shops,compare prices, finally buy your memory, and then fervently pray that the price doesn't fall in the next two weeks or so.
I've been f'd over by some ridiculous price drops in the past... especially this one time when I bought a Micro SD for my R4 gaming flash card at what I thought was a bargain price, only to later see that it had dropped by five bucks in a week's time.
