I have the trump card when it comes to terrible moves....

I swear, no move has been worse than the move that we just experienced, and are currently still experiencing. I have never seen things go so wrong.... and have a landlord who was so devious. We could literally sue her. I am so serious about that. And frustrated.




I do not know how to even tell this story in any short way. I could say long story short, but honestly, it is long story long.

Basically, we are renting from someone who did not disclose certain information about the house that we are living in. Such as the fact that when the house was inspected by the city back in February, that it didn't pass.... for so many reasons. She told us some of the problems, but sure as heck did not disclose them all. She also said that when we moved in this last weekend that she would be moved out.... not true. She had so much stuff still there when we got there with our stuff. As well as the house was filthy!! Unbelievably filthy!! We spent so much time and money just to get the place clean enough to live in!

The city still has to do another inspection.... we found out that we need an occupancy permit, something she did not tell us. It is her job as the landlord to inform us of information such as this. She never should have rented us the house if it had not passed inspection. You need to fix the problems and then have it reinspected! What is wrong with this lady?

We won't even go into how strange she is and all of the junk she just wants to save and salvage. She got upset with Keith for pitching a minnow bucket with ashes in it.... she wanted to save the ashes to make soap!! What? Ok, that's fine if she wanted to save it for that, but she needs to get it out of our way, and out of our home! Esp if we are paying rent to her.... ugh!!!

This is not even half of what we have been through..... this is the main reason why I have not blogged in so long. Not to mention we are waiting for the internet to get hooked up at our place. It should be within the next week. Yay!!

I am almost finished with my scrapbooking room.... finally almost unpacked... unfortunately I may be packing it up soon if this place doesn't work out the way we had planned.

Oh, and I am loving all of the followers!! Yay!! I have also added more to the blog candy, but haven't taken pictures of it due to this moving thing! I'll tell ya what the newest goodies are as soon as I can!
