I don't talk much about my "Real" job...

I know this, I mainly mention my scrapbooking and my family stuff. So, I thought I would fill ya in on my real job. You know, the one I get paid for? Hehe... Anyway, so it has been crazy here. We are getting ready for an inspection by the major corporate Brand. (If you didn't already know, I work for one of the Hilton Family Brand hotels... I am the AGM of one in the STL area.) So, we have to make sure all of our paperwork is correct, as well as make sure that we are following all of the major brand standards according to the insanely huge manual that we have. Crazy. That's what we have been up to.

So, as you know, I had a pretty stressful weekend... and ended up taking off Sun, Mon, and Tues from work. Well, for some reason my staff decided that this past weekend would be the weekend to test my nerves, and my hand muscles. I had to do 7, I repeat 7 reprimands for my employees! I couldn't believe it. Not to mention I was a bit pissed over the fact that I had to fill out all of those forms. Fun Fun.... ugh. I just don't understand how in three days three people can rack up 7 reprimands! Geeze.... they kill me. I was so upset when I got all of the information. I seriously don't understand my staff sometimes. Oh well, lesson learned.... hopefully.

I love my job... just don't like doing the reprimands. I wish I had a perfect staff.... DREAM ON EM!! LOL I know that will never happen, but I would at least like them to get reprimanded for bigger issues than the stuff that I have done the past two days. It's petty stuff that if repeated can cost them their jobs. Amazing what little one can do to lose themselves their job.
