Kids in Car Accident

I wasn't in the car accident, but the kids were. They were with their dad when it happened. Apparently he decided to take them to KC this weekend for some convention, and somewhere on the way to KC, he was driving over a bridge and hit a puddle of water and lost control of the car. He said that the car spun around a few times before it hit the side of the bridge.  He said that none of them were hurt, but that the paramedics also didn't check out the kids. 

Why am I upset? Well, I only just found out about this! He is just now telling me that the kids were in a car accident! They don't show any outward signs of injury, but internal stuff wouldn't show....
I believe him when he says they weren't hurt, but I don't like the fact that I was not called, nor did the paramedics check out my children to see if they were ok!  Those are most irritating to me! 

I had to vent.... sorry! They are really ok though. Pretty normal to me... as normal as MY children are! LOL

So glad the kids are okay Em! And I can totally understand how that would upset you not hearing about it until well after the fact! I can't believe the kids weren't checked out....isn't that the first thing we would do as moms?

That's what I thought too... It's definitely a disappointment to me that he didn't seem to care more.
